Shore Excursions from Invergordon ...
The number of cruise ships visiting Invergordon steadily grows; and so does the number of people choosing our shore excursions.
Your locally-based, qualified tour guide will meet you on the quay at Invergordon. For groups of seven or less you will be looked after by a driver/guide; larger groups will have a coach driver and tour guide.
We've been looking after cruise ship passengers for ten years and we have a good idea now of what people enjoy in their short time here (and, importantly, how to avoid the crowds when a large ship is in port!).

Tour Includes
The most popular tour includes Culloden Battlefield, the Clava Cairns, Cawdor Castle, Inverness and Urquhart Castle by Loch Ness. We do not recommend a tour of the excellent but very detailed Culloden Battlefield exhibition since this is quite time consuming, but rather a tour of the field by the guide, and a chance to use the various facilities of the visitor attraction. Depending on sailing times, there is normally also time to look at Beauly which is a charming small town with a 13th century priory.
Dunrobin Castle
You may, alternatively, head north by Glenmorangie Distillery to the cathedral town of Dornoch (good shopping opportunities here) and then on to the wonderful château-like Dunrobin Castle where there are falconry displays twice daily.
Or perhaps you would just enjoy some wild highland scenery and wildlife? Let us know your priorities.
Black Highland Cow
On any tour we can divert here and there to accommodate individual interests or when photo opportunities - like Highland cows or basking seals - present themselves.
The tour will occupy all the available time between disembarking and the time recommended for return to the quay.
Lunch is normally taken at the café at one of the attractions.
